Chocolate and granola covered apples

We’ve also got your Halloween celebrations covered with our granola and melted chocolate covered apple recipe. No tricks.. only treats. 

Makes 6 treats. 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 Apples 
Toppers: 
  • 90g Dark or milk chocolate
  • Almond butter 
  • Spoon Granola 
  • A pack of blueberries 
  • Mixed seeds

METHOD: 

Break the chocolate into a heat proof bowl and add to a shallow pan of simmering water on a low heat. Be sure to prevent any water from splashing into the bowl. Simmer until the chocolate has melted and stir the chocolate until it forms a liquid consistency. Remove the bowl from the pan and leave to cool. 

Chop your apples in half and place them with on a tray with the flat surface of the apples facing up. Then go to town with your toppings by drizzling the chocolate and nut butter with a spoon. Then top with blueberries, nuts and seeds and granola. 

Tuck in.
