Our turmeric granola is really simple to make. Using our Low Sugar One granola as a base ingredient - it's kind of like a cheats homemade granola, which gives the milk in your bowl a rich golden colour!
There's been lots of scientific studies into the health benefits of turmeric. In recent years, it's been said to be a viable treatment for arthritis, with studies finding that the substance (most commonly used in cooking), has anti-inflammatory and pain relieving effects*.
We love it for its comforting and soothing flavour that can be enjoyed anytime of day.
- 500g Spoon granola - The Low Sugar One
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp turmeric
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
Melt the coconut oil.
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and turn out onto a lined baking tray.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
