HOW TO MAKE A SUMMER SMOOTHIE BOWL

For our smoothie bowl, we've kept it simple. Make sure to chop up your banana and pop it in the freezer the night before. Kind of like a healthy soft serve ice cream - you'll be transported to a tropical beach in no time (I mean that's a big shout, but here's to dreaming).

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup organic frozen mixed berries
  • 1 ripe banana (sliced and frozen)
  • 1 cup fresh fruit (we recommend a mix of blueberries, raspberries and banana) 
  • 3 tbsp coconut water or plant-based milk
  • 40g Spoon Granola

METHOD

Add frozen berries and banana to a blender and blend on low until small bits remain – see photo.

Add a bit of coconut water or milk and blend on low again, scraping down sides as needed, until the mixture reaches a soft serve consistency.

Scoop into 1-2 bowls and top our suggested toppings.
